Full-Time Veterinary Assistant

River Road Animal Clinic is seeking a full-time veterinary assistant or technician with at least two years of experience. This position is a good fit for someone who can work efficiently, stay reliable under pressure, and provide attentive support during appointments, treatments, diagnostics, and surgery.

Qualified candidates must be proficient in:

Venipuncture
Immunizations
Surgical patient monitoring
Routine laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures

Candidates should also have strong knowledge of preventive care, treatment recommendations, and veterinary products. Experience with Avimark veterinary software is preferred.

Veterinary Receptionist

River Road Animal Clinic is looking for an energetic full-time veterinary receptionist with excellent customer service skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This role is often the first point of contact for clients, so professionalism, kindness, accuracy, and strong communication skills are important.

A minimum of one year of veterinary field experience is preferred. Candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Avimark veterinary software, preventive products, appointment flow, and client communication. The ability to triage client calls and maintain reliable attendance is required.

Kennel Technician

River Road Animal Clinic is looking for dependable animal lovers to help care for boarding pets and support the daily needs of the clinic. This position involves hands-on animal care, detailed cleaning, and communication with the medical team when a pet needs attention.

Kennel technician responsibilities include:

Using proper animal handling techniques
Feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring boarding pets
Maintaining the boarding facility
Helping care for post-surgical patients as directed
Providing detailed housekeeping throughout the clinic
Communicating clearly with team members about pet behavior, health, and comfort

Weekend availability is required. Reliable attendance and good communication skills are important for this role.
